I searched on the Youtube 550D test videos and look, what I found! :)

The filmmaker guy is in this Hungarian traditional military group, and he make a little short about the Don battle. He only use a simple Canon EOS 550D DSLR, without any filters. He made the pyrotechnic, too. Very good! :)

WOW! Great movie! As you know I'm also a member of reconstruction group and I can say that this movie was very impressing!

In Poland we can't use automatic and semi-automatic rifles during the battle recontructions :( I saw that these guys used automatic PPSh. We can only hire Mauser K98 rifles with fake explosion ammo, but it's very expensive.

I see in this movie they have forest trip. We did the same in July:

Me - first on right with MP-40 pouches

Whole bunch ;)

Heat was horrible...

Soviet orderly girl vs. German soldier ;)

Soviet officer vs. German Feldvebel ;)

Me on the patrol, just before Russian ambush ;)

It depends on situation. We also have Polish Battledresses from Monte Cassino, but on this trip we practised Western Front tactics and hand-to-hand combat stunt. Most of reconstructions in Poland ale Western Front, so we are usually Germans and Soviets.
