Can anybody tell me about beers in Hungary? Which are the most popular? Some regional brewerys? Any Hungarian traditions connected with beer (maybe special beer mugs)? Do anybody know something about Hungarian Weizenbier? Tell me what you know ;-)

hehe hungarian beers?

You know,i think Hungary is not a beer-nation,in my opinion, our beers arent so good.I drank czechish, austrian beers, those taste me better, then our beers...

Hungarian beers:

Dreher(i think this is the best)

Arany Ászok

Soproni

Borsodi

Kőbányai:)

If you polish guys come to Hungary, rather taste our wines, our "pálinka",these are the real hungarian drinks;)

When my sister was in Poland,he brougt me some kind of polish beer:"Karpacky" or something. It wasnt a bad beer..:)

Our palinka is far the best strong drink on the whole planet,i recommend to taste it.We make our pálinka at home too,its about 50-60% of alcohol, sometimes,it can really kick my face:D Our tradition is,when we go to kill the pig("disznótor"),we start the morning with pálinka, that make we stronger, and help us to force to pig out from the pigsty:D

Killing a pig drunk by palinka? Is seems to be difficult :D In Polish villages we also have tradition when people killing a pig ;) But farmers drink usually vodka at this time :D
