Karpacz is amazing, I have only 120 km to Karkonosze Mountains. Every year I am in a gothic reunion in Bolków - Castle Party, it's a great fun ;)

Greetings from Wrocław! :) I arrived a couple of hours ago. Stare miasto is beautiful!
Train was very slow but much more clean than Hungarian ones.
Accidentally isn't there someone, who knows a flat I (and my colleague) could rent? I have a room for five days only...

Great! I would like to share your experiences about Wrocław and Poland here in the future. Wrocław is my target, too. ;)

I'll ask my friends who live in Wrocław, but I think they have no place to rent, because their flats are full.

Hi All! :)

I'm a new member here and glad to find this forum.
How's life in Wrocław? It seems that I'm going to move there in the very beginning of June for my new job. Thanks for sharing those great pictures. I hope to hear about your experiences there, basically I'm interested in anything - ... don't know where to start a new life. ;)

Generally it isn't difficult to get a job in Wrocław, but flats are quite expensive.

Ah, sorry, I meant I have already got the job there. It seems there is a good rental offer too but I have to agree, to rent there is quite expensive comparing to Hungary. The apartment is located somewhere between the airport and the city centre but still waiting for details about it. On which part of the city would you suggest to live?

It's hard to say. I often visit my friends in Wrocław, but we don't talk about finances. I only know they often complain about expensive flats to rent.

Dear Skyscraper, welcome on forum! I just moved to Wrocław from Hungary on 1st of May, since I got a job here at Hewlett-Packard. :-D Others were right, flats are quiet expensive here. One room can be 800 złoty (kb. 55000 ft). It seems I am lucky, because a local Pole helps me. There is an empty room in his aunt's flat and maybe I can move there on thursday or friday. If you need help maybe I can ask if he knows other places.
I didn't have much free time to see the city etc. I wanted to do some sightseeing today (because I got a day off today > 3rd of May is Day of first Polish constitution > bank holiday) but it is SNOWING all day long  I hope by weekend weather will be nicer. I’ve seen on photos all Lower-Silesia is covered with snow now…
I start my job with a Romanian guy (he is very nice, normal, and intelligent. no bad word about Hungarians at all :) )
Tell me details how will you come here, when and other things, and I’ll try to help you! And we’ll have a beer of course! :)
Yesterday I went to a Polish barbecue :) I drank some good wódka (Poles are dangerous, my glass was always full  ) and I had great time. I must tell you that after 48 hours I feel like at home. Kocham Polska!
