Ohhhhh Czêstochowa! My part of Poland  I can write you about this city.

The map of city centre:

Black- There is a parking for tourist. Save and near 'Jasna Góra'. It's the best place to leave a car.

Bicyclist- There is a railway station

Orange - Naj¶wiêtszej Maryi Panny Street. Czêstochowa hasn't typical old town. And for me this street is not interesting.

Green- Jasna Góra Monastery

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jasna_Góra_Monastery

And it's the most important place in city.

I must be honest. Czêstochowa is about 200km from Wroc³aw. The highway is only to Opole (A4). City is not interesting. The monastery of course is one of the most monuments in Poland, but you will spend there about 2-3 hours. The trip Wroc³aw-Czêstochowa-Wroc³aw will last all day. To Cracow from Wroc³aw is 270km, but there is the highway Wroc³aw-Cracow. And Cracow is more interesting than Czêstochowa.

No way! It can't be worse than MÁV (Hungarian PKP). I got accustomed to late, it is so everyday here. :-)
Recently when I went to home to my parents, I took a seat reservation on an IC train. And my seat just didn't exist! When I kindly asked the ticket inspector where the hell my place is, he couldn't say anything else just: It happens every friday, bad computer system, they always sell tickets for not-existing seats.
Inspite their knowledge of problem they don't even try to find solution. :-?
