Paprika is not so hot in hungarian food :D But it adds excellent flavor for dishes.

Papryka nie jest wcale taka ostra w węgierskim jedzeniu :D Ale znakomicie dodaje smaku potrawom.

We eat much other foods then Lanti,maybe its because we live at another region in Hungary:)

Our Christmas menu was:

-meat soup(or broth i dont know,how say in english)
-pásztorpecsenye,with potato:)-->there is no good translation:(

Pásztorpecsenye:
When there are pig killing by us,the stick or the butcher cut a hole in a slice of meat,then we "load" the saucage into that hole,and seal the hole:) Then in Christmas night,my mother bake that "loaded" meat,and we eat it.Such a good dish,i eat it only one time in the year:)

Bejgli is something like the Polish makowiec ;)
Fish Soup ... I know this, but I don't like. Thank God, in Poland we have to choose a mushroom soup and my favorite borscht with dumplings. :D

Everywhere is the same. In Poland also each region has its own dishes. ;)

Pecsenye=pieczeń in Polish :)
Many Hungarian names of plants, animals and dishes have Slavic origins ;)
